Noise Survey
If you are looking to have a noise
survey carried out then here at the Noise At Work Consultancy we can
help you with your requirements. The control of noise at work
regulations released in 2005 were developed to help reduce and control
the risk of occupational hearing damage and noise related effects in the
workplace. These regulations require that a noise survey must be carried
out to identify the areas that can be improved and prevented to help
control noise at work.
The noise survey is an extensive one
and must cover several vital areas a governed by UK law. The noise
survey must include the measurement and recording at various locations
throughout the workplace of A-weighted broadband noise where employees
are subject to potentially high levels of noise that may be deemed
harmful.
Once we have completed your
assessment, we will then incorporate the results into a detailed written
report that will include the following elements:
We will calculate the daily and/or
weekly personal exposure to noise and peak noise exposure levels. Along
with a comparison of the personal exposures and exposure action that can
be taken with limit values as specified by the Control of Noise at Work
Regulations 2005.
We will provide you with a definition
of the status of all the areas that were assessed during the noise
survey, with a reference to action levels and risks associated along
with identification of permanent and/or temporary hearing protection
zones, this may also be presented as a site noise map for your company.
